Nominations open for 2016 Craig Roseneder Award

If you know a truck mechanic or workshop manager who goes above and beyond and knows his/her stuff, maybe a nomination in this year’s Craig Roseneder Award is fitting.

The annual award is sponsored by Castrol Vecton and recognises technical and maintenance excellence in truck workshops.

Any individual who works full time as a workshop manager or mechanic in the Australian trucking industry for a trucking company, supplier or commercial workshop is eligible for nomination.

Nominations close on the 12th of September and can be submitted here.

While the winner will receive a trip to Nashville to attend the American Trucking Associations’ 2017 Technology and Maintenance Council Annual Meeting and Transportation Technology Exhibition.

Australian Trucking Association (ATA) CEO Christopher Melham said there’s sure to be no shortage of dedicated professional’s worthy of recognition.

“Fleet maintenance is about more than keeping the engine running. For our Craig Roseneder Award nominees, it’s a passion and a challenge to make sure their fleet is as safe and efficient as possible,”

“Not only do these people keep their vehicles in top shape, they’re often known to improve on them with safety innovations they’ve conceived and developed in their own time.”
