Those operators who hire a prime mover through the successful Penske Truck Rentals business in the U.S. will rest assured knowing their drivers are protected by the latest truck safety systems.
Penske Truck Rental has just announced that is has ordered a new fleet of trucks, all will be fitted with collision avoidance systems and air disc brakes.
The more than 2,000 prime-movers are being delivered by Freightliner, Volvo and Navistar and Don Mikes, senior vice president of rental at Penske, says the new 2018 model units will enter service from next month.

While Paul Rosa, senior vice president of procurement and fleet planning, says the new fleet of trucks helps keep Penske in front of its competitors.
