The ACCC recall notice advises that missing data records for bolted joints relating to the seat system and the instrument panel have been identified.
In some instances this could indicate the bolted joint has not been correctly tightened.
What are the hazards?
Where it is found that the bolted joints are not correctly tightened, there is a possibility that they could loosen over time.
If this happens and the vehicle is in an accident, it may result in increased injury to vehicle occupants.
Bentley Bentayga owners are requested to contact their nearest authorised Bentley dealer where the specific joints identified on each affected vehicles will be checked and if loose, tightened to the correct torque.
