The Ritz-Carlton chain of hotels has announced it will install two electric car charging stations at each of its hotels.

The commitment will see all 90 global Ritz-Carlton locations, and a further 30 hotels that the chain is currently building, become completely EV-friendly.

Ed French, Chief Sales & Marketing Officer, The Ritz-Carlton, says the charging stations have the ability to charge EVs in just two and a half hours.

“Our organization is committed to seek ways to inspire people to live differently. To adopt a lifestyle in which we can travel responsibly, comfortably and create memories that will last a lifetime,”

“Commitment to the community and environment was part of our original 1983 mission statement.
