Recall on Mercedes-Benz E-Class

The Australain Competition and Consumer Commission has issued a recall notice on Mercedes-Benz E-Class vehicles.

The independent authority is overseeing a fault in the driver’s side rear seatbelts concerning the tensioner which may not properly deploy.

This could lead to severe injury to passengers in the event of an accident.

The recall affects vehicles sole between 30 September 2020 and 30 January 2020.

Mercedes-Benz will contact owners instructing them to visit their nearest dealer for an inspection and repair at no cost to the customer.
