It’s one of Australia’s favourite 4×4’s and has long been an Aussie family favourite, now the Toyota Prado celebrates 250,000 local sales.
It’s almost exactly 20 years since the Prado first arrived in Australia.
Toyota tell us it took 10 years to reach 100,000 sales, only seven years to achieve 200,000 deliveries and the other 50,000 sales have come in just the past three years.
Sales and marketing chief at Toyota Australia, Tony Cramb, paid tribute to the consistently successful model.
“Prado excels at being tough, comfortable and reliable - above all, it is capable of handling everything from regular family duties to long-distance travel over rugged terrain.”
The Toyota LandCruiser Prado range in 2016 is priced from $52,990.
