Production milestone for Hino in the US

Hino Trucks has now produced 50,000 trucks in the United States.

The Japanese truck company now has the top-selling medium-duty truck in the US and the production milestone comes following a 30% increase in US sales in the past two years.

The milestone 50,000 Hino produced at the company’s West Virginia production facility was a 2017 model 268A.

Yoshinori Noguchi, Chairman of Hino Trucks said after humble beginnings in the US market, the Hino brand was now gaining momentum.

“It’s gratifying for our sales team, our manufacturing team, and our production team to have reached this significant milestone in our company’s history.

“This production level is testament to our trucks longevity and to the commitment of our customers to support a quality product.”
