Drop in demand for Fiesta and Panda see production paused.
Production of two vehicles built in Europe and imported into Australia has been scaled back due to a slowing in demand.
Fiat has announced workers will stop building the Panda for eleven days next month at its Italian plant as dealerships both in the models home market and export markets struggle to sell the mini-SUV.
While in Germany, Ford will slow production of the Fiesta in coming months for the same reason. The companies Cologne plant produces Fiesta vehicles, including the Fiesta ST, which are exported globally, including to Australia.
