The new Nissan Qashqai will be priced between $28,949 and $41,455.

It’s been met with plenty of positivity overseas and even a few car awards, now Australians are about to get a chance to check out Nissan’s new Qashqai.

Sitting between the Juke and X-Trail in the Nissan SUV/crossover line-up, the Qashqai goes on sale here from next month.

There are four different models available with buyers getting to choice between the entry-level ST and premium Ti if they want a petrol engine and the TS and TL grades if a diesel engine is their preference.

Standard features on the entry level models include 17” alloys, LED daytime running lights and a reversing camera.

The engines on offer are a 2.0 litre petrol that produces 106kW and 200Nm or a 1.6 litre turbo-diesel (automatic transmission only) producing 96kW and 320Nm. As yet claimed fuel consumption for the engines in the Qashqai hasn’t been confirmed.

Richard Emery, Managing Director and CEO of Nissan Australia, says hopes are high for the new Nissan crossover.

“The all-new Nissan QASHQAI presents an enormous Australian-market opportunity for Nissan,”

“QASHQAI offers consumers style, safety, technology and premium comfort in an exciting, accessible package that will have broad appeal.”
