Australian pricing to start just below $61,000…
The latest incarnation of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class will be available in dealerships late next month; prices will start at $60,900.
That’s $1000 more than the entry-point for the current model, but given the improvements built-in to the new model the slight price increase looks justifiable.
The 2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class features updated exterior styling, a new interior, lighter body shell, reworked suspension, added safety features and upgraded engines.
It’s also bigger; the wheelbase has been increased by 80mm, the overall length is up 95mm and the C-Class is now 40mm wider.
With petrol, diesel and even a hybrid variant on offer, Horst von Sanden, CEO Mercedes-Benz Australia/Pacific, says the new C-Class is sure to be a hit with local buyers.
“The outgoing C-Class was and is the number one selling luxury car in Australia and we’re confident the all-new C-Class will continue on the same path when it launches in August.”
