New Mazda3 goes on sale in Japan

The updated Mazda3 is now available to Japanese buyers as the popular vehicle makes its first appearance on the global market.

The new Mazda3 features the first of the new SKYACTIV vehicle dynamics with G-Vetoring Control, providing more engine, transmission, chassis and body control.

With the technology, the manufacturer is promising a “Jinba ittai” experience meaning to be as one with rider and horse, a phrase that harks back to feudal Japan.

Mazda President and CEO Masamichi Kogai is aiming to make the brand an essential part of every buyer’s life.

“Mazda is striving to create a special bond with them and be the one and only brand they chose by continuing to update our models with next-generation technologies based on our human-centred philosophy.”

The 2017 Mazda3 goes on sale in Australia on August 1.
