Latest sporty two-door model from BMW will start from $50,500.
BMW Australia has released details on the new 2 Series Coupé, which will be available in local dealerships in March.
The three specification line-up also features three different engines – 2.0 litre petrol developing 135kW and 270Nm, 2.0 litre diesel that delivers 135kW and 380Nm, and in the high-performance 235i buyers get a twin-turbo, 3.0 litre six that develops a thumping 240kW and 450Nm.
All three models in the 2 Series Coupé line-up will come standard with an eight-speed automatic transmission with launch control.
Phil Horton, Managing Director for BMW Group Australia, says the brand-new offering will raise the bar in the premium compact segment in terms of dynamic ability, aesthetic appeal and emotional allure.
“The 2 Series Coupé blends stunning good looks with the kind of incredible dynamic talent that can only be delivered by a rear wheel drive car,”
“Add to this the generous specification loaded with the latest in innovative technology, and we are very confident that we have another winner!” said Mr Horton.
More details on the new model are yet to be released by BMW.
