New Australian boss for Isuzu Trucks

Hiroshi Nishizaka appointed to new position in Japan…

The top-selling truck brand in Australia has appointed a new boss after the recently-appointed Hiroshi Nishizaka was poached by Isuzu’s head office in Japan.

Isuzu Australia Limited (IAL) today confirmed that Mr Nishizaka, who has held the Managing Director and CEO positions with the local operation for less than a year, would not be continuing in the role.

IAL Director and Chief Operating Officer Phil Taylor telling us the shift to Isuzu Japan was “due to unforeseen circumstances”.

“We thank him for his contribution to IAL, albeit brief, and anticipate that he will shortly be re-assigned to another role within Isuzu Motors, Japan,”

Replacing Mr Nishizaka is Hiroko Yaguchi (pictured above).

Currently General Manager of Isuzu’s International Sales Dept. No. 4, Mr Taylor says Ms Yaguchi is well qualified to fill the position of Managing Director and CEO.

“Many of our Dealers had the opportunity to meet her recently at the National Dealer Meeting where she was a guest and presenter on behalf of Isuzu Motors,”

“The final changeover date is yet to be determined, however we anticipate it will be made effective sometime during May or June.”
