Mercedes-Benz teases us with first photo of new S-Class Convertible.

In what is likely to be a head turning and possibly even iconic model, more of the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class Convertible, Cabriolet if you prefer, has just been revealed.
Set for an official debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September, the photo released this morning confirms that the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class Convertible will be a two-door offering, this comes after there was some debate about the new model possibly offering four-doors.
In the photo the new model is seen next to a classic 1961 220 SE Cabriolet.
Ola Källenius represents the Mercedes-Benz sales and marketing department on the Daimler AG board, he says anticipation is building for the global reveal.
“After 44 years we can again offer friends of our company an open variant of the S‑Class.
“The new S-Class Cabriolet symbolizes our passion for individual and timelessly exclusive mobility, which we share with our customers.”
We will keep you updated with more news and photos of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class Convertible in coming weeks.
