Minimizer Poly Fenders up for award

The popular U.S.-made Minimizer Poly Fenders has been named a finalist in the Minnesota Business Magazine Manufacturing Awards.

It’s the second straight year that the product has been named a finalist and will compete with two other businesses from the state for the award.

Those other finalists include a company that creates scientific test equipment and a plastics manufacturer.

Minimizer poly fenders were invented more than 30 years ago by Dick Kruckeberg.

In the early days Mr Kruckeberg sold his invention out of the back of his truck, later he handed the reins to his son Craig and now the company boasts a team of nearly 100 employees.

The product, including integrated bracket kits, are said to be nearly indestructible and are guaranteed for life.

The fenders are available for single, tandem and multiple axle set-ups

Craig Kruckeberg tells us it was a huge honour to be again be named a finalist.

“Innovation is the name of our game and we’re constantly looking at new products that are tested and tortured to save the consumer time and money.

“We always hear about ‘Made in the USA,’ and these awards do their part to help celebrate that.”

Aside from the poly fenders, the company also manufactures light kits, mud flaps, tool boxes, tyre masking kits, work benches and custom moulded floor mats for prime-movers.

The awards will be announced in late September.
