MINI 5-door wins German resale award

New MINI 5-door offers best long-lasting value for car buyers.

MINI 5-door wins German resale award - the MINI Cooper 5-door is expected to have the best resale value percentage in Germany in four years.

The new MINI 5-door has scooped the pool in this year’s ‘Value Master’ awards handed out by the respected German publication ‘Auto Bild’.

The awards recognize the models that offer the longest-lasting value on the German automobile market and the new five-door MINI took out the small car category, and was the overall winner too!

Taking into account factors such as running costs, brand image and the competitors within the particular vehicles market, the awards are based on what the estimated price of the vehicle will be in four years.

The current forecast gives the new MINI Cooper 5-door an estimated resale value of 65.6 per cent of the original price, which is the highest percentage residual value of all models analysed this year.

The ‘Auto Bild’ award comes just weeks after the 2015 MINI range took out two awards in the ‘auto, motor und sport People’s Choice Awards, also in Germany.

In Australia, the MINI Cooper 5-door is priced from $27,750 and is available to test drive in MINI dealerships now.
