The MINI 5-door is longer (+161mm), taller (+11mm) and has a longer wheelbase (+72mm) than MINI 3-door.

MINI dealerships across Australia now have the latest MINI offering ready to test drive – the new five-door version.

The second body type is being offered in three specification levels – Cooper, Cooper D and Cooper S and prices range between $27,750 and $38,050. With a longer wheelbase and room for five, MINI Australia boss Kai Bruesewitz says the MINI 5-door is a versatile offering.

“With more space for five occupants and their luggage, the new MINI 5-door is the perfect premium small car for the family or those whose lifestyle requires extra interior space and flexibility.

“At the same time, it maintains MINI’s characteristic contemporary styling, refined performance and sensational driving dynamics.”

Engine choices in the new variant include a 141kW/280Nm turbo-charged petrol unit and a turbo-diesel power plant that delivers 85kW and 270Nm. Standard equipment in the entry-level model includes air conditioning, dynamic cruise control, Bluetooth and electric windows and mirrors.
