Major Sales Milestone for Subaru Outback

100,000th Subaru Outback sold to Australian customer in February.

After celebrating 90,000 Australian sales last May, Subaru has now accumulated 100,000 Subaru Outback deliveries.

The 100,000th Outback was delivered to an Australian customer last month, the milestone coming twenty years after the Subaru Outback was first introduced into Australia.

Subaru Australia Managing Director, Nick Senior, telling Behind the Wheel Car News that the Outback continues to find more Australian buyers.

“Staggering is the fact that almost 13% of the total sales have come in the last 14 months, confirming that Fuji Heavy Industries (the make of Subaru vehicles) has designed and developed the perfect SUV for Australian families.

“The combination of tremendous value, comprehensive specification and great engineering is proving irresistible to buyers and is bringing many new customers to Subaru too.
