“This will provide higher levels of driver comfort and it’s available for order now.”
While a new Mack Safety Pack has been announced for a 2017 arrival. The pack includes;
- Lane departure warning
- Following distance alerts
- Stationary vehicle braking
- Over-speed alert and action
- Adaptive cruise control with braking
“The safety of drivers and road users is a high priority for Mack customers and we’ve responded to their requests for more safety features with a new complete package that will be available in 2017,” said Mr Bestwick.
While Mack Trucks is also in a prime position to build on the growing popularity of models such as the Granite, according to Dean Bestwick.
“The Granite is proving to be a huge success as an all-rounder for local and intrastate distribution,”
“While the Super-Liner is owning the conventional truck line-haul segment. Operators, such as S&G Transport are appreciating the combination of the fuel-efficient MP series engines and the mDRIVE automated manual transmission.”
