Their trucks are a common sight on our roads and now Lindsay Transport has taken delivery of its 300th Australian-built Kenworth truck.

Handed over at a ceremony at the Kenworth plant in Melbourne, the milestone vehicle was a Kenworth T409 powered by a 15 litre Cummins ISX e5 engine and an Eaton Ultrashift Plus transmission. The special truck also being decked out in special livery, including gold logos and personalized exhaust shields.

Lindsay Transport has been purchasing Kenworth Trucks for 45 years.

Set to go into 26-metre B-Double line haul service hauling refrigerated produce on interstate routes, Mike Dozier, Managing Director of PACCAR Australia (Kenworth’s parent company), said Lindsay Transport has been a great Australian success story.
