The changes inflate Lexus GS and LS prices by up to $500.

Lexus Australia today announced upgrades of its GS and LS large sedans for 2015.

The changes, which bring with them price increases of less than $500 across the range, includes the introduction of Rear Cross Traffic Alert and updated satellite-navigation, now with speed and red light cameras and school zone alerts.

The premium Mark Levinson audio system is now fitted as standard on the GS 350 F Sport, while LS models gain new LED interior dome lights, and on the outside Titanium Silver replace Elysium Blue for all GS models.

While the 2015 Lexus GS and LS will also feature a stiffer chassis thanks to the introduction of high rigidity glass, new adhesives and re-engineered front (A) pillars.

Lexus Australia chief executive Sean Hanley said the updates add further touches of class to the Lexus GS and LS offerings.

“These new features and added levels of safety will make the LS and GS sedans even more of a pleasure to own and drive,”

“We are proud to offer these upgraded features without a significant price premium.”

The 2015 Lexus GS range now starts at $77,000, the LS kicks-off from $189,430.
