The Lexus CT 200h range has been given another upgrade as Lexus shaves up to $2000 off the hybrid coupes price tag.
Available in three specification levels - Luxury, F Sport and Sports Luxury, $1000 has been taken off the Luxury and Sports Luxury variants; the full $2000 comes off the F Sport.
Beyond that, all models in the CT 200h line-up get a few new exterior styling tweaks, new alloy wheel designs, slimline navigation or display screen, new shift lever, IS-style steering wheel and upgrades to the vehicle’s chassis and suspension.
Lexus say those undercarriage improvements provide for more composed and dynamic driving characteristics.
Now starting at $39,990, the Luxury model also gets a reversing camera, Lexus display audio with 10 speakers (replacing six), rotary-style Lexus Remote Touch controller and rain-sensing wipers.
The F Sport gains a unique black roof, larger rear spoiler and Enform connectivity as standard, prices start at $48,990.
Finally, Sports Luxury models benefit from LED headlamps and fog lamps, new Shimamoku trim and privacy glass as standard, prices start from $56,990.
Lexus Australia chief executive Sean Hanley has told behindthewheel.com.au the changes will help attract more buyers to the breakthrough hybrid model.
“CT 200h was and remains the first and only hybrid luxury hatch available to Australians, and these significant improvements and new look will enhance our already unique offering.”
