The donation comes after a more than six-decade partnership between Land Rover and the Red Cross.

While recently, Land Rover also supplied a vehicle to assist rugby great, and Land Rover Ambassador, George Gregan in a campaign to assist young remote community members onto the sports fields - ‘Road Trip For A Reason’.

Check out more details on that here.

Andrew Kenyon, Director, Northern Territory for Australian Red Cross tells us the vehicle will be a great help.

“Distances in the Northern Territory are so vast and the addition of this Land Rover vehicle will make a huge difference over the next 12 months, helping our team to reach people in remote communities”.

While Matthew Wiesner, Managing Director of Jaguar Land Rover Australia, says everyone at Land Rover is proud of the connection with the Red Cross.

“We are proud to support Australian Red Cross, and to donate a Land Rover Discovery to the Northern Territory operation for a year so that they can continue the incredible work they do supporting remote communities.”
