Behind the Wheel’s 2016 Car of the Year, the Kia Sorento, is already a comprehensive offering but now the SUV is being further enhanced.
The 2017 line up will see the addition of the Kia Sorento GT-Line, trumping the luxury Platinum grade at the top of the specification tree.
Presenting a more sporty version of the Sorento, the GT-Line will features everything found in the Platinum as well as 2.2 litre diesel engine and six-speed automatic transmission.
Extra features include Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), 19” Chrome wheels, stainless steel side steps, red brake calipers, red leather trim, paddle shifters, LED ice cube fog lamps, chrome accented interior and GT-Line badging.
Kia is offering all of this from $58,490.
While the Kia Sorento Platinum hasn’t been forgotten and gains AEB for a $600 increase in the retail price.
And LED daytime running lights will be included in the Si and SLi models along with minor interior upgrades.
