Kia sales booming ahead in Australia in 2016

June a record sales month for Kia in Australia

The Australian public is increasingly seeing the merits of choosing a Kia vehicle with the car company achieving a breakthrough sales month in June.

Kia Australia sold 5170 vehicles in the month, that’s a whopping 41% up on the same month last year.

While across the first half of the year Kia dealerships have delivered 28% more vehicles.

Kia boss Damien Meredith says everything is coming together nicely for the brand.

“Driven by growing brand recognition and loyalty, the recognition by independent bodies of Kia’s outstanding quality (such as this recent J.D. Power study) and our industry-leading warranty, Kia has taken the next step as a serious industry player.”

But he says there is still plenty of work to do.

“It is not the time for patting ourselves on the back, but rather to find more and better ways to provide our customers with the ownership experience they want and deserve.”
