The Rondo scored an impressive 36.2 out of 37 under the ANCAP criteria.

The impressive new Kia Rondo (especially the diesel variant) has been given a maximum five-star ANCAP safety rating.

Scoring a segment-leading score of 36.2 out of 37 under the ANCAP criteria, the rating means every new Kia on sale in Australia, except the soon to be upgraded Carnival, boasts five-stars for safety.

Kia Australia Chief Operating Officer Tony Barlow says safety is a top priority for Kia.

“We have made the commitment that all new Kia models in Australia will have the five-star rating and with the Rondo we continue to honour that commitment.”

Pricing for the Kia Rondo starts at $29,990 and recent reviews of the model can be found here.
