U.S. minivan testing sees Kia Carnival come out on top.
It’s known as the Kia Sedona in the U.S. but the 2015 Kia Carnival has just been named the winner of the Ultimate Minivan Challenge.
Using fully-loaded minivans in real world scenarios, the teams looked at models including the Kia Carnival (Sedona), Honda Odyssey, Dodge Grand Caravan and Chrysler Town & Country and Patrick Olsen, Cars.com editor-in-chief, says the Kia took the points.
“The all-new Kia Sedona (Carnival) is a champion of quality and refinement,”
“A great ride combined with a quiet cabin and numerous innovative features made the Sedona an obvious selection as the ultimate minivan.”
The result goes against a recent Consumer Reports U.S. recommendation that the Kia people-mover should be avoid because of its “harsh” ride and handling, squeaks and rattles inside the cabin and fixed position second row seats. Check out more on that here.
