New Jaguar SUV under $50,000?
Last week we brought you early U.S. pricing and specification details for the 2018 Jaguar E-PACE range.
One thing that stood out in that coverage was that prices in the U.S. for the second Jaguar SUV model would start under $39,000 (USD).
Now we have some early indicative Australian pricing for the model with Jaguar Australia telling us the E-PACE is likely to land in Australia with a starting price around $48,000.
When the 2018 Jaguar E-PACE lands locally in the second quarter of next year the range is expected to top out at about $84,000.
In announcing those indicative prices this morning, Jaguar also hinted at the local engine line-up.
The information stating that the E-PACE will be the first Jaguar model to benefit from an exclusive range of Ingenium petrol and diesel engines.
These range from the 110kW diesel to the 221kW petrol.

While we can also expect the E-PACE to be offered in Australia S, SE and HSE model grades.
A ‘launch edition’ model is also expected to be available.
Some features and options expected to be available here include 21” alloy wheels (said to be a first for vehicles in the compact SUV segment), up to 11 body colours, and a 4G Wi-Fi hotspot that can stream content to up to 8 devices.
