NLR 55/45-150 Tri-Tipper arrives

The ability to be able to tip a load to the rear, and both sides of a truck is a huge advantage and now Isuzu has a three-way tipper to offer Aussie buyers.

Expected to be a popular choice among councils and garden supply businesses, the new offering is known as the Isuzu NLR 55/45-150 Tri-Tipper.

Featuring a heavy-duty Japanese factory-built tipper body, Isuzu Australia’s Chief Engineer, Product Strategy, Simon Humphries tells us versatility is the word with this new addition to the brand’s ready to Work range.

“It offers much greater flexibility, meaning customers are less dependent on access,”

“A council might need to spread mulch along on a nature strip, for example.

“The Tri-Tipper allows them to do this with an ease well beyond what’s possible if they’re reliant on a traditional tipper that only tilts at the rear.”

The tipper function is controlled from inside the cab and offers 20-second raise and lower times.

isuzu NLR 55/45-150 Tri-Tipper Powered by Isuzu’s 110kW/375Nm turbo-diesel engine, the NLR 55/45-150 Tri-Tipper features a five-speed manual transmission as standard.

While as standard it boasts a 5,500kg GVM, however a de-rated 4,500kg version is also available so it can be driven on a car licence.

“We believe the care and attention to detail that has gone into the development of this vehicle will impress even the most discerning operator.” says Mr Humphries.
