Intercooler issue sees Maserati Levante recalled

A total of just 73 Maserati vehicles affected…

A recall of current series Maserati Levante SUVs has been initiated after a possible issue with a rubber hose was identified.

The recall of the newly-released Maserati SUV is being overseen by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC).

The recall notice advises that the short rubber hose section of the intercooler pipe may not be in conformance and could break during the normal use of the vehicle.

What are the hazards?

Vehicles could suffer a loss of performance and the ‘Check Engine Light’ would be displayed.

Maserati will contact all known owners asking them to contact their nearest Maserati dealer and arrange for an inspection of their vehicle and for any necessary work to be carried out.
