Hyundai Trucks celebrates debut Australian sales

31 trucks delivered in July

We got along to the Australian launch of the new Hyundai Trucks (or Hyundai Commercial Vehicle Australia) operation back in November last year.

Since then though, well, very little has happened.

That is until now, VFACTS data shows the operation has delivered 31 trucks to Australian customers in July.

All were from the South Korean manufacturers light-duty range - known as the Hyundai Mighty.

The 31 trucks are the only sales registered by Hyundai Trucks this year.

The brand is hoping to take sales away from established players such as Isuzu, Fuso and Hino, particularly in the competitive light-duty segment.

Check out more details on those plans here.

We’ll bring you more details, including an update on the Australian operations, as further info comes to hand in our Hyundai Trucks News section.
