New Hyundai large car achieves record high score.

The Hyundai Genesis has sailed through its ANCAP crash tests, achieving the highest score in the testing authorities 21 year history.
The new Hyundai large car scored 36.88 points out of a possible 37, including a frontal offset score of 15.88 out of 16 and a side impact protection score of 16 out of 16.
Arriving in Hyundai dealerships next month, the Genesis comes with a list of standard safety features and systems, including; nine air-bags, Autonomous Emergency Braking and adaptive cruise control.
ANCAP Chairman Mr Lauchlan McIntosh says the new Hyundai flagship well and truly deserves a five star safety rating.
“The Genesis offers a high level of physical crashworthiness and excellent safety features as standard,”
“This is one of the first times we have seen the word ‘Standard’ listed against almost every safety feature on our checklist. Importantly, autonomous emergency braking is one of these standard features – one that has recently been left off many new models hitting our shores.”
