Honda Odyssey remains best-selling people mover

Honda Odyssey maintains top sales position in September.

Honda Odyssey remains best-selling people mover - Honda has sold a segment-leading 2,167 Honda Odyssey vehicles in 2015.

It was recently beaten by the Kia Carnival in a Cars.com Ultimate Minivan Challenge, yet Australian families rate the Honda Odyssey above its Kia rival.

In the hotly contested minivan private registrations race in Australia, the Honda Odyssey again beat the Kia Carnival in September with 242 sales in the month and a market share of a remarkable 45.5%.

The Honda Odyssey has held top spot in private people-mover deliveries since it was launched back in 2014, that’s despite an all-new version of the Kia Carnival coming online earlier this year.

Honda Australia boss, Stephen Collins, says the Honda Odyssey continues to be the pick of Australian families looking for plenty of seats.

“It is practical and packed with features and its high quality finish both inside and out means a super-comfortable journey and it’s also a delight to drive.

“All these qualities have ensured the Odyssey has remained number one in private sales and we are very proud of its achievement.”

The Honda Odyssey seats up to eight and is priced from $37,610. Check out our most recent Honda Odyssey review.
