The keenly-anticipated new 2016 Honda Civic Sedan will land in Australian Honda dealerships in June.
The first of three new Civic configurations to arrive here, ahead of the Civic Hatch (early 2017) and Civic Type-R (late 2017), the new Honda Civic Sedan will arrive with plenty of overseas accolades, including AutoGuide.com Car of the Year and North American Car of the Year.
“This new Civic for us is a game-changer,” said Honda Australia Director, Stephen Collins.
“It is the most important model in our history in Australia and we’re confident the customers who have been looking for the original sporty DNA that Honda was known for are going to find it in this new Civic.”
To be offered in Australia with the choice of two engines – 127kW/220Nm 1.5 litre turbo-petrol and 104kW/174Nm 1.8 litre petrol, Honda tell us they will offer the new Civic Sedan in a range of five different variants.
While Honda Australia has also promised us that the Civic Sedan has been engineered and built to meet Australian conditions.
We will confirm Australian pricing and final specification details for the 2016 Honda Civic Sedan when confirmed by Honda.
