Star Wars star on-hand for official Captiva unveiling.
The Holden and Star Wars promotional tie-up is starting to be seen with Harrison Ford a special guest at a public unveiling of the updated 2016 Holden Captiva.
As we reported last week, the Holden Captiva has received a styling upgrade for 2016 and that new look has been shown off at the event, for Holden and Star Wars fans, held today at the Sydney Opera House.
The new Star Wars movie, The Force Awakens, opens in cinemas nationwide from next Thursday.
Aside from the chance of catching a glimpse of the Hollywood legend, who plays Han Solo in the Star Wars movies (in case you missed that important point over past 40 years), some lucky Star Wars fans also got to see an extended trailer of the new movie.
Holden’s Executive Director of Marketing and Customer Experience, Geraldine Davys, said it’s going to be a big summer for Star Wars fans and families looking for a well-priced SUV.
“The Star Wars story is one that continues to capture the imagination of the entire family and so the family-friendly and spacious new 2016 Captiva with its state-of-the-art connectivity and the exciting hologram booth with Sphero seemed the perfect partner.”
“With Star Wars: The Force Awakens in cinemas from 17 December and Captiva on sale in January, it’s sure to be a memorable family summer.”
We will bring you photos of the Opera House event when they come to hand.
