Half million car milestone for Skoda Octavia
Skoda plans to produce and sell 1.5 million Skoda Octavia’s annually in coming years.

Skoda has stopped to mark an impressive milestone – the production of the 500,000th third-generation Skoda Octavia.

Launched at the beginning of 2012, the third-generation Skoda Octavia is produced in both two-wheel drive and all-wheel drive variants, in Australia the Octavia is priced from $21,690.

Werner Eichhorn is a Board Member for Sales and Marketing at Skoda, he says the model continues to find a growing number of new owners.

“Producing half a million Octavia’s in less than two years reinforces how well the car has been received on the international markets.

“As the ‘heart of the brand’, the Skoda Octavia is the central pillar of our growth strategy. Over the coming years, we plan to continue growing and inspire new customer groups with the Octavia and the attractive Skoda range.”
