Nothing but praise for Fuso product from long-time owner/operator…

Fuso trucks just the ticket for Tamworth Car Carrying

Covering over 1.2 million kilometres you would think something might go wrong with a truck, but not so with the Fuso in the Tamworth Car Carrying fleet.

Running Fuso trucks since 1990, founder of the company, Les Sutton, says Fuso trucks are the best he’s owned.

For over 30 years Les has operated trucks from brands including Hino, Ford and Volvo to haul cars across New South Wales and beyond.

But it’s the Fuso heavy trucks, particularly the oldest one on the fleet, that has impressed him the most.

“It’s done 1.2 million km and hasn’t missed a beat,”

“All it’s had are its services, we put in a clutch, I think at about 800,000km or 900,000km I put a reconditioned gearbox in it and it has still got the original brakes and original motor.

“These trucks are miles better and the price is right.”

Showing his loyalty to the Fuso brand, Les recently took delivery of a new 6×4 prime-mover.

Fitted with a Daimler 455hp 12-litre six-cylinder engine and 12-speed automated manual transmission, Les will be looking to make sure he gets at least another million kilometres – trouble free!
