224 BMW i3 cars sold in Australia required back at dealers…
A recall of the BMW i3 electric car has been initiated after a possible issue with the fuel tank ventilation line was found.
In total, 224 BMW i3s sold in Australia are being recalled, all those cars were sold between the 1st of July 2014 and the 30th of November 2016.
The recall is being overseen by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) with the recall notice advising that the fuel tank ventilation line may not be correctly located.
If the ventilation line rubs against the vehicle, it may wear through.
What are the hazards?
