Another recall of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class has been initiated, this time to remedy a possible issue with the front spoiler.
The recall, being overseen by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), comes following other recent recalls for the Mercedes-Benz model over issues such as a possible fuel leak, a possible problem with the airbags and a battery wiring fault.
The ACCC recall notice for the latest Mercedes-Benz C-Class recall says that the lower lip section of the front spoiler may not have been attached to the vehicle according to specifications.
This means that it is possible that the section of the spoiler may separate from the vehicle.
What are the hazards?
If the section of the spoiler separated from the vehicle it may result in increased risk of an accident to other road users.
Letters will be sent directly to owners of affected Mercedes-Benz C-Class vehicles by Mercedes-Benz Australia/Pacific Pty Ltd.
