Ford have issued a recall on the Mondeo due to a software error in the Headlight Control Module causing them to switch off on their own.

Drivers would then be required to turn their car off and on again to reactivate the headlights.

The defect affects Mondeo vehicles fitted with adaptive LED headlights built between October 16, 2020 and December 22, 2020.

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) are advising owners to contact their Ford dealership to have the fault rectified.
