Ford Australia delighted at early interest in Everest SUV.

Ford Everest gets positive Australian response - Ford reports strong customer interest in their new SUV - the Everest.

There’s a new player coming to the red-hot seven-seat SUV market with the new Ford Everest set to land in Australian Ford dealerships next month.

Priced from $54,990 and featuring a 3.2 litre 143kW/470Nm turbo-diesel engine, Ford has just reported to us that their dealerships have been receiving an encouraging amount of interest from prospective Ford Everest buyers.

Set to take on the Toyota Prado, Ford Australia say more than 11,000 customers have flagged an interest in the model and they have received 25,000 requests for brochures on the SUV.

Ford Australia boss, Graeme Whickman, says all things point to the Ford Everest being one of the brands best-selling models.

“The Everest is one of our crown jewels of our nearly $2 billion in R&D investment the past six years, something we have used to give our customer-relevant technologies and capabilities expected of an rugged off-roader,”

“We’re aware of the competition in the market for this level of vehicle so we’re focused on delivering a broad message across various platforms to put the Everest SUV on customers’ shopping lists.”
