Car manufacturers are often using the term “game changer” in 2017, however that term really only relates to a small handful of cars.

One of the vehicles that undoubtedly changed the motoring world was the iconic Fiat 500.

Bringing four-wheeled, covered, motoring to a whole new generation of car buyers in Italy and further afield (including Australia), the little Fiat is now celebrating its 60th anniversary.

To mark the milestone, Fiat has produced a special edition offering – the Fiat 500 Anniversario Edition.

Arriving in Australia in October, prospective buyers will need to be quick – just 60 cars will be available locally.

Featuring exclusive ‘1960’s style’ features and accents – including the exclusive colours; Riviera Green (seen above), Sicilia Orange (seen below), Fiat Australia boss, Fulvio Antonelli, says the special edition cars are a great tribute to the iconic model.

“The Fiat 500 Anniversario Edition offers a glimpse into the iconic heritage of the Fiat brand and pays tribute to the vehicle which launched 60 years ago,”

“The Anniversario is a modern Italian-made hatchback that represents a reworking of the vehicle’s unmistakable design signature.”

  1. IT IS A 500 POP 1.2 which sold in 2014 for $13,990 and $16,000 for the 500C that was more true to the original with hug caps and no glove box, rather than the hideous looking cheap plastic on the series 4 glove compartment. Pay more Get less strategy. Lounge would be up spec and have 1.4 engine, climate control, rear dimming mirror and leather seats, so paying more than $15,000 is for those who don’t know any better unless it is a 500C, trust me I know. I have owned five modals since 2008 and still have four! Good car for the right money as when you need to buy parts you may as well build a Ferrari.
