Eight Ferrari models face recall over air-bag concerns.
Australian Ferrari owners are being asked to return their Ferrari to a dealership to have the driver air-bag replaced.
Affecting Ferrari 458 Italia, 458 Spider, 458 Speciale, 458 SpecialeA, Vehicle California T, FF, F12berlinetta and LaFerrari models, a total of 58 cars are affected by the recall, which is being overseen by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission.
The ACCC recall notice for the Ferrari air-bag fault recall says that due to a possible non-conformity in the production process of the driver side airbag module, the air-bag may deploy abnormally.
If the air-bag does not deploy correctly there is an increased risk of injury to the driver during a collision.
Affected Ferrari owners should contact an authorised dealer to have a replacement air-bag fitted.
