Extra power comes to 2017 Maserati Ghibli

Updated Maserati Ghibli lands in Australian dealerships for 2017…

Maserati has introduced an updated and improved, and more powerful, Maserati Ghibli into Australia for 2017.

Recently launched at the Paris Motor Show, the updated Ghibli with the V6-petrol engine welcomes the extra power – up around 5% to 257kW.

The 3.0 litre engine continues to offer a hefty 500Nm.

While the more powerful version of the V6-petrol engine found in the Ghibli S maintains its 301kW/550Nm outputs and the 3.0 litre turbo-diesel variant retains its 275kW/600Nm figures.

Across the 2017 Maserati Ghibli range the Italian sports/luxury car maker has upped the features and comfort levels inside the cabin.

These changes include a new high resolution 8.4” multi touch screen that is compatible with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Maserati has also fitted the Ghibli with an Air Quality Sensor that helps remove polluted air from the cabin.

New customisation and driver assistance packages round-out the changes for 2017.

Maserati Australia boss, Glenn Sealey telling us the Ghibli is now an even more compelling offering.

“The Ghibli has driven demand for Maserati to unprecedented levels since its launch so for 2017 we are enhancing the features that have driven its popularity,”

“A new range of options packs refine its exclusivity, a power boost for the entry model will lift performance and new technology will augment its luxury, comfort and ease of use.”

The 2017 Maserati Ghibli range is priced from $138,990.
