Recently launched at the Paris Motor Show, the updated Ghibli with the V6-petrol engine welcomes the extra power – up around 5% to 257kW.
The 3.0 litre engine continues to offer a hefty 500Nm.
While the more powerful version of the V6-petrol engine found in the Ghibli S maintains its 301kW/550Nm outputs and the 3.0 litre turbo-diesel variant retains its 275kW/600Nm figures.
Across the 2017 Maserati Ghibli range the Italian sports/luxury car maker has upped the features and comfort levels inside the cabin.
These changes include a new high resolution 8.4” multi touch screen that is compatible with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Maserati has also fitted the Ghibli with an Air Quality Sensor that helps remove polluted air from the cabin.
New customisation and driver assistance packages round-out the changes for 2017.

The 2017 Maserati Ghibli range is priced from $138,990.
