Eight-generation Toyota HiLux cabin revealed - the new Toyota HiLux will be here in October.

Toyota Australia today gave us the scoop on the cabin of the all-new eighth-generation Toyota HiLux.

Arriving in Australian Toyota dealerships in October, the new Toyota HiLux has a more ‘SUV like’ interior than the current and previous generations of the top-selling ute, according to Toyota.

Boasting a more comfortable driving position with increased front head and shoulder room and an expanded range for seat-height adjustment too, Toyota says drivers will also be able to find their most comfortable position thanks to tilt-and-telescopic steering adjustment.

While the information pack from Toyota says the new HiLux will boast a modern tablet-style touchscreen. Standard across pick-up models will be a reverse camera and seat-belt reminders will be fitted standard to front seats in all variants, to rear seats as well on double cab models.

With 31 different variants on offer from launch, Toyota Australia executive director of sales and marketing Tony Cramb said the next-generation HiLux ticks all the boxes.

“New HiLux is more unbreakable than ever with a stronger frame and body, new high-torque diesel engines, rugged yet advanced exteriors and spacious interiors that combine modern features with durable designs,”

“Even workers in tough industries like mining, building and farming want the space, ergonomics, technology and ride comfort of the new HiLux interiors - and so do their families.”
