Drivers gearing up for Rnd 2 of the Toyota 86 Racing Series

Four drivers from the Brian Hilton Motorsport Team are getting revved up for the next round for the 2016 Toyota 86 Racing Series at Sydney Motorsport Park in August.

The second round of the Toyota sports car SuperSprint is on August 26-28 where the team are looking  to back up performances in the opening round in May at the Winton SuperSprint.

The team consists of Gerard Maggs, Luke King, and two young guns, 20-year-old Josh Hunter and high school student Drew Ridge.

Drew is in year 12 this year but has five year of karting experience winning the Australia Junior Clubman Title two years ago.

Josh, grandson of sprintcar champ Garry Rush, has also had time behind the wheel in karts, V8 touring cars and Supercars. He looking to improve on his 15th placing in the final event at Winton.

After August, there will be three more rounds of the Toyota 86 Racing Series at the Sandown 500, Bathurst 100 and Sydney 500.
