MINI Cooper S E Countryman ALL4 is unlike any other…

The first ever MINI Cooper plug-in hybrid, the MINI Cooper S E Countryman ALL4, will be making its way to our shores very soon after its European launch in March.

The model with the big name will be the largest member of the new generation of MINIs featuring a 3-cylinder petrol engine powering the front wheels and an electric motor turning the rear wheels.

Together they are capable of a power output of 165kW and a top speed of 125km/h as well as low fuel consumption of 2.1L/100km and 40g/km CO2 emissions.

It only takes two and a quarter hours to charge the Lithium-ion battery in a wallbox affording a total electric  range of 42km.

Project Director Uwe Seitz says the S E Countryman ALL4 stands alone with the technology that it offers.

“The MINI Countryman hybrid is unique to its segment, offering intelligent all-wheel drive as well as being able to run on electricity alone in urban areas and over long distances.”
