Dennis Eagle trucks recalled to fix steering issue

A recall of a total of 415 Dennis Eagle brand trucks sold in Australia has been initiated after it was found the vehicles could have a potentially dangerous steering fault.

Affecting Dennis Eagle Elite 2 trucks, the recall is being overseen by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC).

The recall notice advising that the steering arm may fail under extreme operating conditions.

If the steering arm fails under extreme operating conditions it may reduce vehicle control, potentially causing an accident or injury to other road users.

Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted directly by Penske Commercial Vehicles (the Australian importer/distributor of Dennis Eagle) by mail or email.

Owners should contact their nearest authorised Dennis Eagle dealer to arrange an inspection and repair.
