Current Jaguar XE and XF recalled over Fuel Hose Fault

The 2016/2017 Jaguar XE and Jaguar XF saloons are being recalled after a possible fuel feed hose issue was identified.

The recall is being overseen by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) with recall notice advising that the under bonnet low pressure fuel feed hose may detach from the fuel filter.

This could cause fuel to leak into the engine bay and the engine to stall. This will also cause loss of power, assisted braking and steering.

The ACCC advising that the engine may cut out with minimal warning, causing sudden loss of power and reduced braking and steering capacity, which could cause a crash.

Owners of affected vehicles will be notified and advised to take their vehicle to a Jaguar authorised dealer, which will add a spring wire retention clip to the joint.
