This isn’t just a special edition Toyota Camry, it’s also a very limited edition offering and one sure to generate a lot of interest.
Confirmed today by Toyota Australia, just 54 Toyota Camry Hybrid Commemorative Edition cars will be available.
The offering was developed by Toyota to mark the end of local Camry production.
Why 54? Because that’s how many years Toyota has built cars in Australia.
Based on the top-spec hybrid Camry – the Atara SL, the special edition cars come with metallic silver paint and a black roof (as seen below).
There’s also a red garnish along the lower lip of the grille, blue illumination in the foot-wells, Camry-branded scuff plates, a sports mesh interior, and commemorative edition floor mats and badge.
“One of the 54 Commemorative Camrys will be kept by Toyota Australia and another sent for display at the TMC Museum in Japan, confirming our parent company’s high regard for the employee commitment, local engineering input and quality achieved in 54 years of local manufacture.”
